what the venue site is for, and how it fits alongside mowp.org
The event space is a revenue program. The site's job is to produce inquiries from people planning a wedding, a memorial, a board retreat or a birthday party, and to answer enough of their questions first that the inquiry is worth having.
That makes it a different kind of site from mowp.org. The main site asks a visitor to give, volunteer or sign up for meals. This one asks a visitor to book a room, which is a slower decision made against a shortlist of other rooms. Everything below follows from that.
The timeline
The site is built through the main website's Q4 pause and opens for bookings in early 2027, ahead of the first events. Everything published at launch runs on architectural renderings; a photography pass follows the first season. Whether a single interest page goes up sooner is an open decision. Where it fits alongside mowp.org
The main website builds through September, pauses through Q4 for year-end giving, and launches in February 2027. The venue build sits inside that pause.
What the site has to do

Capacity, date, price range, what is included.
Show the room
Photographs, floorplan, video tour.
Make the inquiry easy
A form that collects date, headcount and event type.
Tell the mission story
Where the rental fee goes.
The order matters. The mission story is the reason a certain kind of client picks this venue over a comparable one, but it only gets read after the practical questions are answered.
